Knowledge & Respect Goes Both Ways

The entry requirement is not talent, money, or follower count. It is whether you bring something and whether you return what you were given.

Knowledge & Respect is the oldest rule here. It predates the LLC, the store, the streams, and every division on this site. It is two words because it is two obligations, and they run in both directions.

Knowledge: bring something real

Knowledge means you are expected to actually know the thing you are speaking on. Not the surface of it. Not the version you skimmed. The thing itself.

That standard applies hardest to us, not to you. If KR Academy teaches risk management, then risk management gets taught properly — mechanics, position sizing, what losing looks like — not tips and not hype. If a product ships from the store, the sizing and the material are described accurately. If something is in beta, it is labeled beta.

The fastest way to lose a community is to be confidently wrong in front of people who trusted you. So the rule is simple: know it, or say you do not know it yet.

Respect: it is owed, not extracted

Respect is the half people usually get backwards. It is not about rank, and it is not something the person with the most authority collects from everybody below them.

In a healthy operation, respect flows downhill first. The person running things owes the people showing up a working system, honest information, and follow-through on what was promised. If that is not delivered, nothing owed in the other direction matters — it was never a community, it was an audience being harvested.

Why it goes both ways

A gaming clan, a business, a classroom, a family — they all run on the same physics. One side gives and the other side takes, and it works right up until the giving side runs out. Then it collapses, and everybody acts surprised.

The exchange has to be real on both ends. People support the operation; the operation delivers something worth supporting. Neither half is optional. Neither half is charity.

The entry requirement

You do not need a following to be here. You do not need money, credentials, or a track record. You need to bring something real and return what you are given.

That is the whole gate. It is not a low bar — plenty of people cannot clear it — but it is an honest one, and it is the same bar for everybody, including the person who wrote it.
